Troubleshooting FAQs
Why won't my SOLO Speed & Cadence sensor pair to my phone?
-
To ensure that your Speed sensor pairs directly to the app you have downloaded please ensure you have Bluetooth switched on on your device before attempting to pair.
Do I need to pair to my phone first?
-
No, you do not need to pair the sensors to your phone first, because SOLO uses Bluetooth Smart it is only required to pair to the app on your phone.
I am struggling to get a heart rate reading from the SOLO Speed sensor and it doesn't show up under the list of sensors?
-
This can be caused by the Speed sensor not being attached securely to your wheel hub. When attaching to the wheel hub please ensure that the sensor sits flat on the hub and not at an angle as this will cause the accelerator to give an incorrect reading.
Can I pair my SOLO Speed & Cadence sensors with another phone or app or ANT+ device?
-
Yes SOLO sensors can be paired with more than one phone/apps. If you are switching between devices or apps then you can still use your Speed sensor for different devices. Simply pair your sensors in the same way as before and SOLO will now work with multiple devices.
Can I pair my SOLO Speed & Cadence sensors to my phone app and ANT+ device at the same time?
-
Yes SOLO can work simultaneously using Bluetooth Smart to send data to your phone app and using ANT+ to send data to your bike computer or similar ANT+ device.
Can I pair my SOLO sensors with multiple apps and phones at once?
-
If just using Bluetooth Smart then Unfortunately not, once SOLO is paired to the app on your phone it cannot be paired to another device while in use. However SOLO can be paired to different apps and devices if one device is paired via Bluetooth Smart and the other app/device is paired via ANT+.
